1) Open the official site in Chrome, Edge or Safari. 2) Pick race, gender, class and zone — only Elwynn Forest is open at first. 3) Press Enter or click Enter World. 4) Move with WASD; spells fire themselves. 5) Walk over experience wisps; on level-up pick one of three cards with 1 / 2 / 3 or a click. 6) Survive to the 16:00 final boss, Edwin VanCleef, to win the zone.
Two habits decide most first runs: never stop moving inside a dense pack, and fill your six spell slots before you start ranking up a weak spell. Short runs still pay talent experience — one guide's 2:44 Warrior run earned 69 XP, and the first talent point arrives at 80 XP — so a death is progress, not a waste.
