A full roguelike run in a tab, not a mini-game.
“Browser game” here means the game runs in the browser tab, not that it is a small Flash-style mini-game. This is a full roguelike run: choose a hero, survive waves, draft upgrades, fight bosses on a timer, and keep permanent talent progress between runs.
The trade-off versus Steam is real: no install, but you depend on WebGPU and on the official site's small free server. That server is why players sometimes see “Too many people are playing”. The Windows download exists precisely for that case — it is the same game, offline, from the official page only.
